MariaElena-In my mid 50’s I tipped the scale at 178 lbs. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and well on my way to becoming a type 2 diabetic. I had always been an athlete and physically fit, put through the years I started gaining weight. When my physician told me he was going to put me on medication for type 2 diabetes it finally hit me! I was already on medication for high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I was not happy with myself and how I looked and felt in clothes. It was time to take control of my life and turn things around. While in N.J. my husband and I researched this weight loss program called Ideal Protein. After doing extensive research, my son and I decided to give this program a try. I say try, because in the past I had tried every program imaginable with no success! Well, in 5 months on Ideal Protein I lost 55 lbs. and was taken off of all my medications by my physician. He could not believe the improvement in my blood work and blood pressure.
